The Pharmacy module is the control center for the clinic’s inventory of medicines, supplies and products. It keeps the product catalog up to date, receives purchases with lots and expirations, tracks the full history of every lot, transfers stock between warehouses, runs cycle counts and complies with controlled-drugs regulation.

Key concepts
Base unit
All inventory is stored in a base unit. A product can be purchased in a different unit (e.g. a
box) with a conversion factor; the system converts entries and exits to the base unit automatically
(quantity × factor).
Average cost
After each receipt or return the product’s average cost is recalculated from every lot with stock. Inventory value is computed with this cost.
FEFO traceability
Exits (sales, clinical consumption, transfers) consume lots nearest expiry first (FEFO), excluding expired ones.
Immutable kardex
The movements ledger cannot be edited or deleted. Errors are corrected with new movements (adjustments). Every document is protected against duplicate entries (idempotency).
Controlled drugs
Every movement of a controlled product generates a yearly running folio (e.g. 2026-00012) in the
Controlled Drugs Book. Clinical consumption of controlled drugs requires a veterinarian with a
license number.
Frozen warehouse
A warehouse marked as Frozen blocks every entry and exit. It is used, for example, for quarantines or audit freezes.
The Pharmacy Dashboard is the daily starting point: you see inventory value, expiring lots and stock alerts without opening each screen.
