What format are dates shown in?
Always the Spanish format DD/MM/YYYY. For example, March 5, 2026 is shown as 05/03/2026.
And dates with a time?
They are shown as DD/MM/YYYY HH:mm, with hour and minutes but no seconds. Example:
05/03/2026 14:30.
When editing a record, what date format should I use?
The same DD/MM/YYYY format. PetSoph’s calendars assign the correct format when saving, even
though the date is stored in a standard way internally.
When typing a date by hand always use day/month/year (DD/MM/YYYY), not month/day/year.
What language are the list values in?
The interface is 100% in Spanish: screen names, fields and most list values are shown in Spanish, although the app supports English and French in other contexts.
What does the dash “—” in a cell mean?
It means there is no data for that field in the record (for example an empty phone number or a date not yet defined).
Can the creation date of a record be changed?
No. The creation date of every record is fixed: the system does not allow modifying it, so the history of the data is reliable.
Are prices and rates calculated automatically?
In the modules that require it, yes. For example, the billing of a boarding stay is calculated from the Daily Rate of the room and the nights of the stay. See the Billing & Cash module for the details of each calculation.
Always check the room’s Daily Rate before confirming a reservation: it is the basis of the billing calculation.
