The Stays module manages pet boarding (hotel) and hospitalization: booking a room for an animal, its check-in, daily care, and the clinical services when the stay is for health reasons. It also manages the facilities: locations (locales), areas (salas) and rooms.

Key concepts
Facilities hierarchy
Rooms are organized in cascade: a Local holds Salas, and each Sala groups Habitaciones. When creating a stay you pick locale → area → available room.
Boarding vs. hospitalization
The stay category decides what can be done with it:

Stay lifecycle
Every stay moves through statuses: Pendiente → Confirmada → En Estancia → Finalizada, with the terminal statuses Cancelada and No se presentó. See the stay lifecycle article.
Vaccination check
At check-in, the system checks that the pet has a current rabies vaccination. If it does not, the check-in is blocked and cannot take place until the vaccination is up to date.
The Tablero de Ocupación is the daily starting point: in one glance you see how many guests there are, today’s check-ins and check-outs, and which rooms are occupied by locale and area.
